As Co-Chair of Whiteford's Labor & Employment Practice, Mr. Guattery advises and represents both public and private sector employers, including for-profit and nonprofit organizations, on all facets of the employment relationship. He has successfully represented employers against discrimination and other employment-related claims before federal, state and local fair employment practice agencies, as well as in state and federal courts and appellate courts throughout the Mid-Atlantic. He has, in addition, significant experience representing U.S. and international corporations and individuals in a wide range of immigration matters, such as ICE audits and enforcement actions, NAFTA-related issues, inter-company transfers, treaty trader/investor visas, national interest waivers, immigration compliance and other legal concerns related to the employment of foreign nationals.
