Daily Record Names Sean Trice to 2026 Leaders in Law

The Daily Record has named Sean Trice a recipient of its 2026 Leaders in Law award. The Leadership in Law honorees are attorneys and judges who demonstrate outstanding dedication to the legal profession and a strong commitment to serving their communities.
 
Mr. Trice is a corporate transactional attorney with more than 25 years of experience as legal counsel, a corporate executive, and an entrepreneur. He frequently serves as outside general counsel to small and middle-market companies and tax-exempt organizations. In this role, he works closely with entrepreneurs, executive leadership teams, and corporate boards, advising on a wide range of business matters, including corporate structuring, contract drafting and negotiation, capital raising, private equity, government contracts, succession planning, buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. He has also served as legal counsel on a number of complex economic development projects.
 
Mr. Trice has extensive legal and practical experience in the federal government contracts sector. He advises government contractors on compliance matters and regularly assists with prime and subcontract agreements, teaming agreements, independent contractor agreements, settlement agreements, and other issues unique to doing business with the federal government.
 
His international practice includes representing multinational businesses and entrepreneurs across the African diaspora in cross-border transactions, with particular experience in Ghana and throughout West Africa.
