Prominent Patent Attorney Jeffrey Schell Joins Whiteford; Leads New Denver Office

Mr. Schell joins Whiteford from Schell IP in Denver, a pioneering patent-focused AI-native law firm that he founded and where he has represented wide-ranging technology startups and growth-stage companies, with a focus on IP for emerging companies in Colorado. A leader in the Medtech/Biotech ecosystem in Colorado, he has founded and exited two patent-driven Medtech firms and also served on the Colorado Bioscience Association policy committee and other venture drivers. He is an active board member on economic drivers such as the Downtown Denver Partnership and TiE, which brings together successful entrepreneurs and business leaders to support startups and early-stage companies throughout Colorado.

In addition to his entrepreneurial achievements, he serves as a Venture Partner at Erez Capital, contributing his expertise to emerging ventures. His impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem has been recognized by ColoradoBiz Magazine, which named him one of the 25 "Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado." He has also been a finalist for awards like "Colorado Innovator of the Year" and "Denver Trailblazer."
