Date: December 11, 2025
Ms. Davis provides advice and management training to raise awareness and ensure compliance in all areas of labor and employment law; she is frequently contacted by clients to assist in handling their most sensitive employment matters. She works across industries ranging from health care and higher education to manufacturing and golf to understand the particular needs of her clients in these industries.
She also regularly represents employers in state and federal courts in the areas of discrimination, fair labor standards, family and medical leave, wrongful discharge, covenants not to compete and breaches of employment contracts, as well as other state and federal employment issues. She is experienced in defense of EEOC charges and DOL investigations. She uses her litigation experience to counsel clients with a goal of eliminating risk and placing the client in the best position should litigation arise.
In addition to her leadership roles at Whiteford, Ms. Davis is actively involved in the Richmond legal community, including serving as Chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Council and a past President and member of the Lewis F. Powell, Jr. American Inn of Court.
“Employment matters can present some of the most challenging issues a business faces,” said Ms. Davis. “I consider it a privilege to work as closely as I do with clients, whether helping them assess and manage risk or advocating for them in high stakes disputes. The level of trust that develops in these relationships is for me one of the great rewards of the profession.”
