Ms. Neifert focuses her practice on real estate. She represents a diverse array of clients—including developers, owners, builders, investors, and contractors—across all stages of complex commercial real estate transactions. Her experience spans the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of commercial properties. Ms. Neifert has comprehensive experience with leasing transactions, representing both landlords and tenants in complex office, warehouse, retail and ground leases. She also represents clients in connection with acquisition, development, construction and permanent financing. In addition, she is experienced in drafting covenants, easements and restrictions and advising clients on a variety of land development issues and general business matters. In addition, she regularly consults on real estate related litigation matters and has significant experience with landlord/tenant litigation, lease enforcement, quiet title and boundary disputes.
Ms. Neifert is a Managing Partner of the Baltimore Office and serves as co-chair of Whiteford’s Women’s Initiative Network. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of St. Elizabeth’s School. She has previously served on the Board of Directors of Waverly Main Street and as a GIVE Fellow for Business Volunteers Maryland. She is a member of CREW Baltimore and also a member of the Real Property Section for the Maryland State Bar Association. Ms. Neifert began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Audrey J.S.Carrión, Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
