Mr. Carignan is Counsel in our Tort & Insurance Litigation practice, focusing on personal injury matters. He previously served as an in-house insurance defense attorney and tried 212 district court cases throughout Maryland and 23 jury trials as lead counsel to verdict. He clerked for the Hon. Philip S. Jackson in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, as well as for the Hon. Shirley M. Watts at the Supreme Court of Maryland. He also was a summer law clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice Tax Division.
