Biography
BIOGRAPHY
Experienced in real estate transactions and litigation, estates and trusts, and contract law, Ms. Edwards specializes in complex estate litigation, commercial leasing and acquisition, and real estate disputes, at trial level and on appeal. Her clients include individuals, foreign governments, companies and corporations, national banks, and developers.
She began her career working for the U.S. Senate, including for former U.S. Senate Majority Leader William H. Frist, M.D. Her private sector experience includes roles in the Global Government Affairs Office for Electronic Data Systems Corporation, The Ashcroft Group, and the General Counsel's Office of MicroStrategy Inc.

- Represented Bank of America to clear title as to liens against real property in $25 million portfolios in DC, MD, and VA
- Represented a $6.6 billion hedge fund in tax sale litigation in the District of Columbia
- Represented real estate investors in the sale of Union Market to JGB Companies for a $1.2 billion mixed-use development
- Represented commercial landlord in landlord-tenant litigation involving mixed-use development in Washington, D.C.'s H Street corridor
- Represented residential real estate owner in specific performance action against real estate developer for breach of contract for the purchase of a $3.2 million home in Washington, D.C.'s Georgetown neighborhood
- Represented condominium developer in the development of 87 condominium units in DC's Ward 8
