International Corporate Partner Danila Duò Joines Whiteford in New York

Continuing the Firm’s Corporate Expansion

Whiteford announced today that Danila Duò has joined the firm as a Partner in New York. An experienced international business and corporate lawyer, Ms. Duò is the most recent addition to a New York office that has seen significant recent expansion.
 
Ms. Duò brings to the firm substantial experience with international commercial and corporate cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. She serves as outside U.S. general counsel for various European and domestic companies. She also advises Italian and international companies seeking to enter or expand their presence in the U.S., as well as to U.S. clients investing in Italy and worldwide.

Before joining Whiteford, Ms. Duò practiced at AmLaw 200 firms and as in-house counsel to a leading European bank and to one of the largest accounting firms worldwide. She received her J.D. from the University of Turin and an LL.M. in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law. She is fluent in Italian and French.
