Leading Bankruptcy Lawyer Marc Phillips Joins Whiteford in Delaware

Whiteford is pleased to announce that Marc J. Phillips has joined the firm as a Partner in its Wilmington, Delaware, office. Mr. Phillips has more than two decades of experience representing clients in large and complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 corporate bankruptcy proceedings.

Mr. Phillips is experienced representing a comprehensive range of participants in bankruptcy and corporate reorganizations, including debtors, unsecured creditors, lenders, landlords, equipment lessors, trade creditors, directors and officers, intellectual property licensors and licensees, insurance carriers, municipal taxing authorities, utilities, asset purchasers, bondholders, trustees and committees. He is additionally experienced in representing secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy preference and fraudulent transfer litigation. A certified mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, he is listed on the Court's Register of Mediators and Arbitrators.
