Mr. Gatehouse is a Partner in the firm's Business Solutions, Restructuring & Financial Litigation practice. Prior to joining Whiteford, he was in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where he primarily handled civil defense litigation on behalf of federal officers and agencies. He has substantial experience with Federal Tort Claim Act defense, notably wrongful death and medical malpractice, as well as employment discrimination matters. He’s served as lead counsel in multiple trials and has over two years of affirmative civil enforcement experience, primarily False Claims Act investigations. He also has experience with business litigation of all types, including securities litigation and arbitration, corporate dissolution and receivership, shareholder disputes and bankruptcy adversary proceedings.
