Ms. Saeidi is a seasoned lawyer whose practice is dedicated to serving the unique needs of community associations, including condominium and homeowners associations, cooperative housing corporations, and the businesses that support them. With extensive experience as outside general counsel to community associations throughout the District of Columbia and Virginia, Ms. Saeidi provides boards and property managers with practical, business-oriented advice on day-to-day operations, interpretation and amendment of governing documents, compliance with statutory requirements, fiduciary duties, fair housing, covenant enforcement, assessment collections, and alternative dispute resolution.
Ms. Saeidi’s practice encompasses both litigation and transactional matters for community associations. She has successfully prosecuted and defended construction defect and transition claims, contract and warranty actions, covenant violation claims, and breach-of-fiduciary-duty suits on behalf of community associations in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative tribunals. In addition to her litigation work, Ms. Saeidi drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts and governing documents essential to the effective operation of community associations and is frequently called upon to update governing documents to reflect current legal requirements.
Aside from her community association practice, Ms. Saeidi has experience representing clients in residential and commercial lease disputes, as well as contract litigation. Ms. Saeidi also advocates for the best interests of incapacitated persons in guardianship and conservatorship cases as a Guardian
Ad Litem in Fairfax County and Arlington County.
