With more than two decades of experience in public finance, banking and finance, and municipal law, Mr. Poyer handles finance matters of all sizes and levels of complexity. He frequently serves as bond counsel to municipalities, districts, public benefit corporations, and other issuers in connection with tax-exempt and taxable bond issues. He also regularly serves as bank and borrower counsel on complex financing transactions, including syndications and participations. He represents clients in an array of industries, including hospitality, retail, information technology, life sciences, healthcare, long-term care, and multi-family housing (including low-income housing tax credits).

Mr. Poyer also maintains a general business practice and assists clients with everything from day-to-day contract review up to and including venture equity financing.

  • Represented hospital obligated group in $93 million in revenue bonds to fund expansion
